300,000 Russian dead! The US only lost 400,000 in the entirety of WWII. Putin is going to be responsible for wiping out an entire generation of Russians. It’s insanity.

Obviously the attackers usually lose more, but I've been hearing "over 300,000 Russian dead" for some time now. A 10 to 1 ratio in this type of war seems a bit out of whack. But I hope the UKR dead IS that "low" & they can continue to inflict heavy losses of Putin's ego

4. It helps that the Russian leadership has zero concern for their own troops

The strategy going back forever is just throw more and more bodies at the problem. The Soviets had 8.7 million KIA in WWII versus 5.3 million for the Germans (fighting on 2 and sometimes 3 fronts) versus 407,000 for the U.S. fighting in Europe and the Pacific.
