Fascinating Discussion from "Across the Pond" about "Should Britain Go to War in Syria?:

I wish there was a Transcript...but, there isn't.

Anyway......I thought it a good watch for anyone who is here on DU "Foreign Affairs" Group whether one agrees or not with the interviews. Although, Dr. Pippa Malmgren's segment at the end reminded me of what's going on here in the USA under discussion about Austerity to Pay for Wars.

Afshin Rattansi goes underground on the UK Foreign Affairs Select Committee, international coalition against ISIL, child abuse and tax credits. From his office in Whitehall, Crispin Blunt, chair of the FAC, discusses reporting to the PM on Syrian airstrikes, defeating Daesh (Arabic term for Islamic State) and working with France, the US and Russia to stabilize the region. Plus what's become of George Osborne's poll tax - the destruction of the working tax credit system - in this year's Autumn Statement? We get analysis from former White House adviser, Dr Pippa Malmgren. And deleted computer disks containing the testimonies of institutional child sex abuse survivors at this week's PMQs.
