New Product From Gardein

We picked it up today...

Zesty Marinara Crispy Chick'n Filets

First off a picture of the package:




Then the nutritional specs (this is only for the filets, it does not include the sauce)


These will be dinner tonight. I'll update this later to let you know how it was.

Update:

OK, we had dinner. It was everything we expect from Gardein. The patty definitely was crispy. The sauce had a slight bite to it, nothing too hot or spicy. We put a bit of Daiya Pepperjack on top of it just for a little cheese. Overall I rank it as quite tasty.

Paul's opinion: He thought it was good. It was moist, the patty was crisp. The sauce was good and tasty. It wasn't that spicy.

If we have it again (which you know we will) we're going to go with 1 patty, even though it's 2 to a serving. We might make a sandwich out of it with the sauce and Daiya.

My local Kroger sells that brand. I will have to look for it, though they are slow in stocking any new product.
