By Sarah Baker Hansen / World-Herald staff writer

The Daily Meal listed The Grey Plume (http://www.thegreyplume.com) as its No. 1 greenest restaurant in the country for 2015.

The story included the top 20 greenest restaurants around the country.

The Omaha spot snagged number one because of its eco-friendly focus, including recycled materials used in the space, LED lighting, water and energy conservation practices, Energy star appliances and menus printed on recycled paper.
