This is a very positive and optimistic informative documentary on women's rights, health care, and population. Extremely important.

In honor of Earth Day the film Mother: Caring for 7 Billion is streaming free for the entire month of April!

This award-winning film was released in 2011 as the global human population reached 7 billion. The film explores the critical challenges facing life in a world of 7 billion people, challenges that persist today as population numbers continue to climb. Touching religion, gender equity, reproductive health and the environment, Mother examines the controversy and one woman’s journey to make sense of it.

...within 50 years or so, any other actions we take regarding population are just designed to ease our guilt. Sweet and caring, but utterly irrelevant. How the hell do we get rid of 7.2 billion people in 50 years, humanely? Answer: We don't.
