Save our green spaces we need petition signatures

We need signatures at our petition.
If you could go to http://pac.petitions.moveon.org/sign/save-mount-manresa?source=none&fb_test=0
We want to save 15.5 acres of old growth trees here in Staten Island and the last vestiges of the terminal moraine from the last glacier. They are planning to rip them up and do high density housing. This means high rise apartments here in this Borough of NYC. Please sign the petition and refer it to your friends as well

thanks

A power company wants to put a giant power line through the oldest, sweetest mountain in the Americas. It would destroy the last of the migrating pollinators. Another nail in the coffin of the planet.

It also contains tunnels that are from the Civil War, where they stored munitions. The trees are over 100 years old and it is set up as a perfect public park.
