Big money is holding our society and our natural environment hostage. They tell us not to ask for too much or they'll let those cute little children and polar bear cubs starve to death...
People who work for "sustainable" businesses, people who make the world a better place ought to be paid more and people who make the world suck (there's a few bankers, defense industry, and oil industry executives I could name...) ought to be living in fear of huge fines and long prison terms.
If we can throw a small time pot grower in prison and take all his stuff then why not the same for, let's say, the top administration of an oil company that has actually killed people and severely damaged our natural environment, or bankers who crash a market and take peoples' homes?
