Love the big phallic pipeline outside Obama's back door! How many people showed up?

(why are you sick in your heart? )

When I first got there it looked like just a couple hundred, but soon there were a lot more and by the end of the march it was a BIG crowd. But I could never see it from above so looking around I couldn't tell.

I am sick because of the mass-extinction starting, old forests lost, parts of the oceans dying, mountaintops leveled, etc.. I know things are evolving and extinctions happen, but humans are the biggest natural disaster. We're of course happy with our accomplishments! And all the things we achieve are more important to most people than all the perfectly evolved healthy species we'll be wiping out this century. And we're supposed to beat our chests with pride in humanity
I know too many who are selfish monsters, and all I'm glad for anymore is my life being half over.

but I remember thinking in the 60s, 70s that there was no problem Americans couldn't handle. Nixon created the EPA, ferchrissakes...Republicans cared about the environment. Polluters were getting arrested. A nuclear arms limitation treaty was passed. We were going in the right direction.

Then something took a wrong turn, and it wasn't just Reagan...it had a lot to do with the death of the Fairness Doctrine. Corporatists created their own news channel, and played on the emotions of a few to build it into a movement. What would happen if you started a Nazi channel in Germany? I, personally, have no doubts.

The only therapy I know is activism and a stiff drink once in a while. I'm glad you're not too sick to take part.

btw like your music. I wish I had more time to listen.
