In Sandy's wake: top Romney advisors Andrea Saul tied to climate change denial

Unfortunately, big energy companies have spent tens of millions of dollars on lobbying, advertising, and propaganda aimed precisely at denying the powerful evidence that burning fossil fuels is contributing to climate change — and at blocking common sense energy reforms. And while Mitt Romney has flip-flopped on these issues, he has surrounded himself with people tied to the climate denial industry.

For what it's worth, OTOH, Obama's energy policy may not be perfect but I do know that he is committed to getting things done.

One of the candidates can't even admit that climate change is an issue. Oh wait. He used to say it was an issue he was committed to taking a leadership role on, but now he questions whether climate change is even happening. Any guesses who

Andrea Saul should be ashamed of her past denial, and I wouldn't be surprised if she's behind Mitt's outrageous "slow the rise of the oceans... heal the planet" line from the convention. Who's laughing now, Mitt?

1) Created phony astroturf Tech Central Station website as a forum for climate deniers
2) Used Oregon Climate Service Manager George Taylor as an "expert" to refute Arctic ice melt (Taylor advised Oregon farmers on weather conditions)
3) Worked with Exxon and Heartland Institute to promote attacks on the Clean Air Act
4) Director of media affairs for McCain/Palin
