State’s 32% job growth in clean energy led U.S. in 2018

• 8,000 jobs were added in clean energy in 2018
• Nevada ranks 3rd in U.S. for jobs energy storage; 6th for solar
• Clean energy employs 5X more Nevadans than fossil fuels

CARSON CITY (April 4, 2019) – As the Nevada Legislature considers legislation to advance clean energy, including a bill for the state to get half of its energy from renewable sources, a new report shows the importance of clean energy to creating jobs and driving economic growth across the state.

we have only one Coal Burner Power Plant left. We do however have nine peaking plants that run on Nat Gas or Methane from a Mega Land fill.
