"Most environmentalists suggest taking an international flight just once a year" - The Nation

My email to The Nation magazine, thenation.com:

Subject: Featherstone: “Most environmentalists suggest taking an international flight just once a year..." - B.S.

In “Asking For A Friend”, The Nation, March 11/18, 2019, Liza Featherstone asserts that, “Most environmentalists suggest taking an international flight just once a year and making the most of it”.

Well, this proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that The Nation doesn’t fact check their columnists. Really, we’re supposed to believe this? Are there really environmentalists that are so obtuse that they don’t understand that we’re already above the carrying capacity of the planet? And that greenhouse gas emissions are increasing? That CO2 levels in the atmosphere are not only relentlessly increasing but accelerating?
