New @Lazard study indicates LCOE from new #nuclear plants is now $148 per megawatt-hour, or $0.148/kWh, while it is $0.05/kWh for utility scale #solar & $0.045/kWh for #wind. By comparison, the average price for electricity in United States is $0.11/kWh.

Every windmill and solar panel brought online decreases the need for fossil fuels for decades.
It's a process and all our current admin can do is slow it down. IMO it's past the tipping point.
