Trump DOE Appointee: Obama "Kenyan Creampuff"; "Climate Change Cultists Will Be Pitied As Nuts"

William Bradford, a former West Point professor and military intelligence officer who now leads DOE's Office of Indian Energy Policy and Programs, deleted his Twitter account and offensive comments shortly after E&E News reported his presence at the agency last month (E&E News PM, May 5). Bradford apologized after a Washington Post article yesterday recounted a number of Bradford's comments, including his calling Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg a "little arrogant self-hating Jew."

Before he deleted his Twitter account, Bradford, a Harvard University-educated military intelligence officer at the center of a number of public scandals, posted a national security strategy he wrote for President Trump, including one recommendation to "wage total war if and when necessary." In tweets directed at Energy Secretary Rick Perry, Bradford wrote: "unicorns, money trees, moderate Democrats, free lunch, & manmade climate change — things that don't exist. @SecPerry."

Yet another tweet read, "Soon, 'climate change' cultists will be pitied as the nuts they always were," and provided a link to a story questioning whether the Trump administration was planning to purge policymakers involved in climate research from DOE.

Other tweets took aim directly at Obama's ethnicity. On Dec. 17, 2016, Bradford wrote, "I think Obama was given his mission in Tehran long ago, and it suits him just fine. How else can a Kenyan creampuff get ahead?" Bradford's tweets about Japanese American internment during World War II drew calls from Chris Lu, the former deputy secretary of Labor in the Obama administration, for DOE to immediately fire Bradford.

There needs to be a special "town center statue" made of this "military officer" so that the pigeons can give him his proper salute!
