Wind farms have made a significant impact in limiting carbon emissions from other sources of power generation in Great Britain.

Power from wind farms prevented the creation of almost 36 million tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions from sources such as coal and gas, in a six-year period.

This is the equivalent of taking 2.3 million cars off the road, University analysis of nationwide output shows.

Over the six year period, 3.4 million more tonnes of greenhouse gases were saved than thought.

This is the equivalent of taking an extra 220,000 cars off the road.

...and the carbon dioxide increases in the atmosphere are now running well over 3.00 ppm per year.

Anyone who believes in this junk at this point is purely faith based and is not paying attention.

The "cars off the road" metric, by the way is stupid as hell, and frankly, morally myopic. The real problem on this planet is that billions of people on this planet are living on an income of less than $5/day, and they, um, aren't agreeing to remain impoverished because navel gazers in the first world are picking lint out their belly buttons and handing out horseshit about electric cars that they dream are powered by wind and solar, even though fracked gas is what drives them.
