Petition to Obama for humanitarian aid
this forum isn't very active but I am hoping to find some kindred spirits here..
I started a White House petition this morning for the people of Central African Republic. This may be the poorest country in the world and there is an uprising going on which will leave many people more desperate than they already are. There are 5 million people living on an average of $2 a day.
French and Americans have withdrawn from their embassies and there is probably nothing any outsider can do to help with the political conflict. But that still leaves millions of civilians worse off than they already are. The US gives some humanitarian aid to this country but the need will be great.
