Valmont worker critically injured

A 35-year-old Valmont Industries employee was critically injured early Monday in an industrial accident at the irrigation-production facility west of Omaha in Valley, Neb.
Douglas County emergency 911 dispatch reports indicated that the man was injured about 3:20 a.m. after some type of a crane rolled over him. Reports also indicated that the man suffered injuries to the right side of his chest.
He was taken by medical helicopter in critical condition to Nebraska Medical Center.
