Workers comp

I tore my ACL all the way through 10 years ago this November while working.

I had physical therapy and the surgeon deferred surgery. Until a couple months ago, everything was fine but now my knee is between weak, aching, and painful. I want to have it re-evaluated.

Here's my question: Will workers comp continue to pay for medical treatment indefinitely for this injury or does it cut off after a certain period of time?

In Nebraska as long as you continue to get workers comp treatment at least once in a 2 year period continuously, it would be covered.

Good luck.

I had an attorney after an injury & they took care of everything. I broke my hip at work, 6 months after the injury and surgery, workers comp attorney ordered me back to work. Our union had an attorney for just this thing. I went to see him (I was in so much pain) , I couldn't sit, and cried during my time with the attorney. He advised me to see another physician, who when I met with her, again I did nothing but cry. She wrote that I couldn't return to work.

Suffice it to say, that the first surgeon (workers comp doctor) fucked up the surgery. I had to have the material he put in, removed and the holes were so big, I had a cadaver bone transplant.

Attorneys can be worth everything, see one. I was on comp for 4 years.
