Do markets always 'flounder' on election days?

Dow, S+P, Nasdaq all appear down today, tho at first appeared to DIVE and late in the day seemed to recover somewhat.

Happened to notice this today, and I was out early and only now (late) looking at details.

5. I think we have Fed testimony and speeches Thursday and Friday

Make that Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Powell tomorrow at 10am. Uncertainty. Fed is boxed in. No room to move rates up, no room to move them down. Or very little room. Plus valuations are up there.
