Home office tax deductions

With everyone working from is it not nice that the GOP got rid of the tax deductions for a home office?

I was a tax accountant in the 1980's, claiming home office deductions was considered the ticket to an audit. The rules were very stringent, and it was easy to goof up the calculations if a person did them without knowing how to do it.

And still deductible for sole proprietor, farmer or landlord.
