(35,091 posts)What are we drug testing? Someone who injects heroin on the job... or someone who smoked a joint a week ago?
And what about the drug tests themselves? We know they are far from infallible. If they are landing people in jail for false positives, what are they doing to applicants?

(34,661 posts)worked at a DIY big box. Befriended the the HR person on this issue because of short staffing issues. Reply was,97 out of 100 applicants failed the Pee Test. And with Corporate Policy being what it was, tough shit.
Just checked with a Mgr.for this same Chain last week,same issue and here in Nevada,we now have new marijuana laws and this Mgr. said the same issue comes up daily,97 out of a 100 fail the pee test.
