Tax, income disparities on the back burner lately in favor of media fluff

Remember repug talking point of how some large percent of Americans don't pay taxes? This subject needs to be kept alive even thought it's nowhere near tax time. So central to how to fix our problems, getting more poorer americans into the taxable bracket. How likely is it Fox nooze includes, in their statistic, homeless americans and the the opposite-- those so rich they can lawyer their way out of liability.
It's such a loser of a subject for the super greedy repugs... seems to have been obfuscated lately with talk of all the "moral" issues.
