Would a Biden and Hanks ticket be great?

Uncle Joe and America's Father Hanks would be awesome leaders to give Trump a run for his money!

We all know that the somewhat bashful Hanks likes to quell down anything rumors of any run for President; but his flirtation from the SNL skit in May 2017 to the recent "At writers Festival" this year, only leads one to believe.... Hanks wants to really run.

Biden would be a fool not to pick Hanks and if he did.... Hanks would most likely to accept due to his character!

It's not because of their celebrity history, but their experiences and their name recognition that will outset Trumps already advantage. Besides, we all know the history of Biden and Hanks, no baggage! Newbies could have skeletons in their closets!

Hanks' experiences aren't ev en slightly relevant to the Vice Presidency. Taking on some Hollywood actor who has never even run for dogcatcher is a harebrained idea. We have a great roster of qualified Democrats already.

A politician political experience does not have to be a requirement to run on a National Platform, it is what they can do and their beliefs.

For the role of VP and President, one can dictate their staff towards a goal. As for Hanks who is Grammy winning Director, that of itself says a lot. He is will known and highly respected internationally.

So, you claim one must have political experience, I disagree. It's how one can lead and how one is knowledgeable in worlds affairs. Hanks and Biden both have those qualities!

why in the world do we need to resort to an actor? The fact that he won an Oscar (not a Grammy, that's for musical recordings) means exactly nothing related to government. Sean Penn won an Oscar. So did Nicholas Cage and Al Pacino and Kevin Spacey. Are all of them qualified as vice presidential candidates, too?

Are they into politics?

Let's review, did Hanks administrator a debate between Hillary and trump? Did he calm America right after the election? Does he have a national platform to talk from and people listen?

Let's face it, we Americans will all disagree on who is the best person to lead us, but in 2020, we have to a winning team to bring down the Nazi and Hanks would be an EXCELLENT team member!

We all know Hanks history. We all know Biden's history.

I am sure Hanks could learn on the job as VP and vote on a tie breaker when called upon to do so.

but fortunately I'm sure Biden is much too smart to choose some actor over the many excellent Democratic senators, governors and others who would actually be appropriate running mates. So I don't worry that I'll ever have to make that choice.

He appears to be a bright, kind and compassionate human being. I love his acting and as much of his personality that I've gleaned from interviews on late night shows. But, no. He has no experience - zero qualifications - to be VP.

If he has the aspirations to become
a political leader he needs to put in some time first, perhaps locally, and work his way up. If he's as (potentially) qualified as the OP appears to believe he will move up the ladder quickly. After all, everyone loves Tom Hanks.
