Maduro blames movies and imperialist series for violence (comments on drugs too) Spanish

http://www.extra.ec/ediciones/2013/01/19/especial/maduro-culpa-a-peliculas-y-series-imperialistas-de-violencia-en-venezuela/

---------

Maduro asked that all the force "to remove the roots of wicked values of capitalism that have generated crime, drugs, and destruction o the Venezuelan youth....

"We can say the mind and soul of thousands of our compatriots have been poisoned by the capitalist culture of consumption, of drugs, of criminality, of death" ....

Maduro said that the venezuelan community has been imposed upon since the 60s by a culture that began "burst of movies in US" that combined drugs, criminality, and violence.

-----------

Later Maduro criticized the opposition and media for accusing Chavez of not doing anything material regarding security. "Who makes the movies that poison the brain of various generation since various decades?"

So, just one more way the Chavistas are like the right wingers here.

You'd think if Hollywood was to blame that violence would be higher here.

Anyway, lets give them a chance, it's not like they have been in power for 12+years during which time it's gotten much worse...

Maduro is sounding more and more like Hugo every day. Maybe they're training Nicolas to replace their comma-induced ruler?
