The police and armed forces will be enforcing the new measures

Peru has begun enforcing strict new measures to stop the spread of the coronavirus disease, restricting public movement by gender.

Men can only leave home on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; women can do so on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. On Sundays, no-one is allowed out.

Panama introduced similar restrictions earlier this week.

Peru has recorded more than 1,400 confirmed cases of Covid-19 and 55 related deaths.

What could possibly go wrong with this?

It's just another divide and conquer move. Imagine if a country decided to implement such a policy based on race, rather than gender.

Very harrowing as the locals are getting very nervous of a "European" possibly infecting them. She is negative for the virus but it's spooky. She has traveled thruout south asia middle east and a good bit of South America with no problems aside from this..
