After a bullet took away the mobility in the lower part of his body, leaving him paraplegic after an attempted robbery more than 10 years ago, the Venezuelan actor, Humberto García, spoke through a video to make him cling to the solidarity of the Venezuelans, to whom he asks for help with attention and medical supplies.

The 74-year-old actor, who was an interpreter of well-known characters on the Venevisión and RCTV channels, is currently in rehabilitation at the "El Peregrino Elderly House", which is located in Barquisimeto, Lara state.

Due to the fact that said elderly lady remains with the charity of the people, at present she does not have the necessary resources to stock up on food and the corresponding medical supplies for her rehabilitation.

Among the requests made by Garcia through the video, is the need for an anti-bedsore mattress, and the medicines Pregabalina, Senokot, Alpram and vitamins.

Also, Garcia took the opportunity to deny the constant rumors that are made about his death, also stressing that due to the rehabilitation that has led, has been "improving."
