Wishful thinking from Chavismo mouthpiece: Invasion is imminent.

JVR: Military intervention is ready

ND / Oct 14 2018.- This was said by the former Chavez minister and PSUV member, José Vicente Rangel in the Confidential section of his program by Televen .

"The armed intervention is prepared and ready, and information and data processing centers have already been created, especially in everything that refers to the real situation of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces: troops; situation of the controls; state in which the different units are located; the logistics; the intelligence; in addition, a rough estimate of the response capacity of the Armed Forces ... to an invasion and the most vulnerable parts of the country".

Previously, he had warned that the idea of a military intervention fuels the abstentionist thesis.

"Above all, it inspires abstentionism which became the fundamental aspect of the liquidation of the Venezuelan process: no longer a coup by the National Armed Forces or acts of terrorism like the one of August 4, but the belief that ... in reality, the option that is posed is the armed intervention".

Maduro, Delcy, Diosdado and the rest of the Merry Morons of Chavismo would love nothing more than for ANYONE to intervene militarily in Venezuela. An armed intervention (especially at the hands of our current Orange-haired dumb-ass) would absolve the Chavists of any culpability to the destruction that they have brought to Venezuela.

And for all the tough talk coming from Jose Vincent Rangel, the FANB have never fired a shot. They are an army top heavy in Cuban trained officers and a starving enlisted corps with abysmal morale. If they were to go head to head with Colombians, who have been fighting a guerrilla jungle war for the fast 50 years? It would be a blowout of epic proportions. Nothing but bluster and false bravado.
