El Cascabel - One of the songs chosen for the Golden Record sent to space on the Voyagers

The Voyager Golden Records are two phonograph records that were included aboard both Voyager spacecraft launched in 1977. The records contain sounds and images selected to portray the diversity of life and culture on Earth, and are intended for any intelligent extraterrestrial life form, or for future humans, who may find them. The records are considered as a sort of a time capsule.

unexpectedly, and I was proud to have that beautiful music filling the room when they appeared!

What a sound, what musicians, singers.

Also was glad to discover, one of the local Democrats here running for Congress had bought commercial time for the mariachis' music. Charisse Davis. What an outstanding surprise. Listened to some more of their music, discovered Charisse Davis had also bought advertising on those songs, too! s

What an honor they were chosen for the Golden Record! Breathtaking.
