Cuban Residents in Italy Prepare Meeting
Rome, Sep 17 (Prensa Latina) Cuban residents in Italy are preparing their 5th national meeting, which will take place in this capital next Saturday.
'With Cuba in the heart' is the motto chosen this year for the annual event, at which more than 50 delegates will participate on behalf of 21 Cuban associations in this country.
Initiatives in favor of the unconditional lifting of the US blockade on Cuba, debates on migration and consular issues, and the presence on social networks are some of the issues on the agenda of the meeting, which is organized by the National Committee of Associations of Cuban Residents in Italy (CONACI).
Other aspects on the agenda are the new Draft Constitution of the Republic of Cuba, which is currently under popular consultation with the active participation of citizens, including residents abroad, and the 13th Meeting of Cuban Residents in Europe, scheduled for 2019 in Belgium.
