Updates from fraud election in Venezuela

People line up to get their Chavista Loyalty Card scanned. Why not? Food for your vote!

Translation: This is the seven-star school on Libertador Avenue. A few meters away, people line up to scan the country's card

Here is how the scam worked in the past:

1. Arrive at the Punto Rojo (Red Spot), the PSUV check in station. Scan your card, leave it with them.
2. Take a receipt from a previous voter who voted "correctly" for the PSUV candidate.
3. Vote. Deposit old receipt. Bring back your receipt proving you voted for the PSUV candidate.
4. Leave the receipt. Pick up your card. Vow to bring in another Chavista voter.
5. Pick up voucher for your CLAP box. Maybe Maduro will deliver. Maybe he won't.

Hunger is an awesome motivator in a nation with no food.

Translation: International neutral reporters point out that abstention in elections reaches 82.96% of the Venezuelan electoral roll. We reiterate that the outcome of these elections will not be recognized by the Lima Group or its member countries

Delcy Rodríguez: The extremist factors that promoted and sought abstention were defeated thanks to the people of Venezuela who went out to exercise their vote ... And there are still people in line to vote

Maduro can count on at least 20% of the population to vote for Chavismo. If a grand total of 17% of the population turned out to vote, we can assume that the vast majority were his supporters. Nobody (except the Marxists/Leninists and Chavista sycophants) gave this fraud the least bit of legitimacy. Though I am sure that the Chavist hardcores got their colectivos out there to round up the voters who had not showed up at the Red Spots (Chavista Loyalty Card holders are required to vote "correctly" if they want government handouts)

Fear not. Maduro knows how elections roll. He got caught with his pants down in 2015 when Chavismo was swept from power by a super-majority of votes... he won't let that happen again. This time, he undoubtedly had the votes tallied way ahead of time. It will still be interesting to see if the numbers add up. (Math isn't a Chavista strong point... 103% of voters?)

Translation: Voters denounce incongruities in the amount that they offer for the scan of the country's card when they leave to vote. Some say Bs 10 million, others Bs 2.5 and when the SMS arrives they are Bs 1.5 million
