Maduro 2/15/2018: "No mass exodus from VZ" Maduro 2/16/2018: "Please come back to VZ"

translated from Spanish

President Nicolás Maduro sent a message to those who have emigrated from the country with the hope that they will return, telling him that nowhere else will they get the benefits they have in Venezuela.

These statements were offered from the Miraflores Palace in Caracas, same place where this Thursday (a day earlier) he had denied that there was a mass exodus of Venezuelans.

But as the bipolarity of the head of state is characteristic of him, this Friday he accepted the great migration of young people who flee in terror of what he calls "the achievements of the revolution".

The president tried to seduce Venezuelans living in nations such as Chile or Spain, taking as a flag free education and social security enjoyed by the country, achievements that are historically attributed to Antonio Guzman Blanco in 1870 and Eleazar López Contreras in 1940, respectively.

But the achievements of his government are really to end the level of life of Venezuelans who have initiated a migration only comparable to those made by Europeans to America during the first and second world war.

I wish they would make up their mind. On 2/15/2018, the Chavista Iris Varela (Minister of Penitentiary Affairs) said: "Let Venezuelans who have left the country never return!"
