Mogherini demands "free, credible and transparent" elections in VenezuelaFeb 6, 2018 7:29 pm
The High Representative for the European Union, Federica Mogherini, claimed on Tuesday that the Venezuelan authorities and the opposition "agree on free, credible and transparent legislative elections," EFE reported .
In the framework of a debate on the Venezuelan crisis in the European Parliament, the head of European diplomacy asked the parties in the negotiations that carry out in Santo Domingo "commitment and flexibility" to reach a political solution.
Among the pending tasks to find a solution, said it is "essential" to set a date for presidential elections "transparent" and with guarantees, a claim that he said is contradicted by the decision to ban the election of the Democratic Unity Table (MUD).
"The prohibitions against the opponents must be prevented and a balance must be guaranteed in the National Electoral Council," he said.

Good luck with that. The CNE (illegally packed with Chavistas) exists only to serve Chavismo. As does the TSJ (Supreme Court illegally packed with Chavistas). The illegal ANC? What a joke... ONLY Chavistas.
See a pattern with Maduro and the Chavists? They don't care about Venezuela. They care about El Revolucion!

Since our election on those voting machines are not transparent and are now controlled by Putin and his minions, even the US doesn't meet the EU standard.
And we wont even mention US gerrymandering, overly difficult voter registration requirements and laws against recounts and exit polling. Oh wait I mentioned them. So why is the EU setting standards for Venezuela that even the US doesn't meet?

...let me know.
The Maduro government has set the date for presidential elections (April 30th) and had the Supreme Court (full of Maduro loyalists) banned any of the major candidates or their political parties from participating.
