translated from Spanish

The Coalition of Organizations for the Right to Health and Life (Codevida), reported on Friday afternoon that a protest of kidney and transplant patients that was registered in Barquisimeto, Lara state, was attacked by shots to stop demonstrating.

According to what was published by the NGO in its account in the social network Twitter, a vehicle passed by the front of the protest and fired several shots from a firearm.

Also, he assured that no injured was registered. "The situation in Barquisimeto is very tense due to the protest of renal patients," he said in the digital platform.

We must remember that since last Wednesday, January 31, the patients who are affected by the strong humanitarian crisis the country is going through have been demonstrating thanks to the bad policies of the Nicolás Maduro government.

Awesome! No dialysis filters for kidney failure and transplant patients, but plenty of gasoline and bullets for Chavismo's Brown Shirts, the colectivos.

and so many other appalling human rights violations in “other countries”.

“Other countries” = people of different ethnicity and cultures

... unless the “privileged” countries (USA, Canada, most of Western Europe, etc.) have something at stake.

This very forum is awash with what Lenin called "Useful Idiots" (UI) who can rationalize what Maduro is doing to Venezuela.

That newborn births are dying at rates seen only in the most impoverished of African nations? In a nation with vast oil reserves and epic agricultural capabilities? That infants are starving and dying of malnutrition? That a person cannot find insulin, antibiotics, birth control or even TYLENOL? That the average Venezuelan has lost over 20 lbs last year on the Maduro diet?

Oh, these UI's can rationalize that. Because these things are the price a nation must pay to embrace The Revolution. The Revolution is what is important. So what if babies, children, the sick and elderly die? So what that people fight over garbage so that they can eat SOMETHING. So what if people are jailed without charges. Who cares if elections are not free and open and transparent? Who cares if opposition parties are forbidden to run for office? That "enemies of Chavismo" who surrender ON CAMERA to the Bolivarian authorities are found two hours later dead with bullets in the back of their heads?

These UI are obvious in their silence. They post trivial things about albino caterpillars found in Mexican caves and outrageous stories of Argentine annual inflation rates of 25%, (Venezuela's is over that in 3 days!) and obscure goings on with deceased Paraguayan actors.

But never a peep about what is going on in Venezuela. Because it is far better for innocent people to die than to have the prospect of a non Marxist government taking the place of Bolivarian Socialism.

iViva la Revolucion! i Viva Chavez!

FFS indeed!
