Venezuelan surgeon wins accolades, science award
Venezuelan doctor wins scientific award in Las VegasMaryory Gómez, gynecologist and laser specialist for gynecological surgeries and pathologies, was awarded on January 30, 2018 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, United States with the award "Best surgical aesthetic result" for a Venezuelan medical case presented in the 11th world congress of the international cosmetogynecology society.
This was made known during the awards ceremony at its annual congress that takes place this week and where the greatest exponents of this specialty meet around the world. The International Society of Cosmetogynecology was founded in 2004 and you can find more information on its website http://www.iscgyn.com
It should be noted that in addition to presenting this case that was awarded the Venezuelan galena presented during the congress a study on "influence of the menstrual cycle in intravaginal laser treatments."
"This award is very important for Venezuela, because it allows us to recognize the effort we are making in the country to continue working for patients and training new generations," said Gómez.
