After a day of agony, on Thursday at 10:30 pm, the singer Adrián Guacarán died, who became famous as a child when he sang "El Peregrino" to Pope John Paul II during his visit to Venezuela.
His wife, Sheila de Guacaran, explained to El Nacional Web that the 44-year-old musician had kidney failure, which led to him filling up with fluid until he collapsed.
He pointed out that the family had difficulties in obtaining medicines. Albumin and aldactone (diuretic) were urgently needed, but at Domingo Luciani Hospital, where Guacarán died, there was no availability. The singer asked for the drugs in a message on his Twitter account.

But the Bolivarian Revolution lives on! So what if a few people of unimportance must die for the greater good!?
(I guess they ran out of sausage casings to use as filters in the dialysis machines again?)
