3 women dead, 11 injured after explosion in Colombian shopping centre washroom

At least three women are dead and 11 injured after an explosion in a washroom in an upscale shopping centre in the Colombian capital Bogota on Saturday.

Bogota Mayor Enrique Peñalosa tweeted, “I regret to inform that 3 women were killed by a bomb in the Andino Centre. Another is in serious condition, but not at risk of death.” He described the incident as a “cowardly terrorist attack.”

The victims were a 23-year-old French woman and two Colombians aged 27 and 31, Colombian newspaper El Tiempo reported.

The blast occurred on a second-floor bathroom with about 500 people in the vicinity, according to El Tiempo. Police said the device was placed in the toilet bowl.

1. An unexpected turn, using female bomb "mules" to plant surprises in the ladies' room at the mall.

Using both male and female bomb experts was employed by the Miami Cuban "exiles" in their endeavors to destroy tourism in Cuba to hotels, restaurants, stores, discos, etc.

As testified in court by people on trial, their help was solicited in Guatemala, other poor countries, by "exiles" like Luis Posada Carriles (who worked for the CIA in Iran Contra, as well as the mass murder bombing of the Cubana Airliner), who wanted to use very poor people, driven by their poverty, to transport and place the C-4 surprises around Cuba for them. They did succeed in murdering an Italian tourist in one of the hotel lobbies.

One only has no further to look than the right-wingers who want the Colombian war on the poor to continue. As anyone with one brain cell should have been able to figure out so long ago, it's the right-wing in Colombia, led by Alvaro Uribe's supporters who have been fighting the peace agreement all these long, bitter years.

Do the poor have anything to gain from going back to war and having themselves and the REST of their relatives and neighbors destroyed? Probably not.

As long as the war continues, the US will be continuing to pump more taxpayers' dollars into that country's government, on top of the $10B already poured into their coffers since 2000. Lotta money from the US taxpayers for such a little country. So damned pathetic.

When a Democrat is elected as our President, that peace will be supported, no matter what the giant blond blob does against peace, or his creepy little sidekick, Mike Pence, when he is slipped under the door of the Oval Office.

If they are using female bombers, looks as if they are getting more serious about preventing peace in Colombia.
