The family of Berta Caceres, murdered on March 3, seriously doubts the Honduran government is interested in getting to the bottom of the crime.
Nearly one month after the murder of Honduran Indigenous leader Berta Caceres, family members have called attention to a troubling fact they believe could be compromising the investigation: the director of the prosecution previously represented the company that Caceres long protested and that supporters have blamed for death threats and linked to her murder.

Clinton maintains a false feminism at home, while having caused such terror and grief to women in Honduras, and also to the women of the Middle East, who are suffering more than anyone from Clinton's destabilization policies. I was simply horrified by the video of Clinton saying, triumphantly, of Libya, "We came. We conquered. He died!" and laughing (that Gaddaffi had been killed). What utter callousness not only at the death of another human being but at the CONSEQUENCES of that action--the most horrible, chaotic civil war spreading throughout the ME.
I was horrified--and flabbergasted--to learn that she is being advised by HENRY KISSINGER! Good God! And also by Robert Kagan--designer of Bush, Cheney & Rumsfeld's blueprint for destabilization and domination of the ME (the "Project for a New American Century" .
Honduras was early warning, for those of us following that event. It was clearly a repeat of half a century of murderous U.S. interventions in Latin America. It was hard to pinpoint responsibility for it at the time (June '09). For one thing, we didn't know (or I didn't know) that Henry Kissinger was whispering in Clinton's ear. For another, we didn't have the benefit of Clinton's recently disclosed emails in which she states explicitly her intention to prevent the elected president of Honduras from returning to his rightful office. The rule of law was never re-established and the result is the "killing fields" of Honduras--and Berta Caceres' murder and the many other murders and brutalities that have occurred since.
We now see President Obama apparently trying to UNDO the damage that Clinton did to U.S./Latin American relations when she supported that coup as Sec of State. I think his very public trip to Cuba (long a sore point with LatAm) and his and Kerry's support for the Colombia/FARC peace talks (also a big deal in LatAm) are quite obviously efforts to fix the very bad opinion that LatAm had formed about the Obama administration from Clinton's actions.
