Correa Denounced Smear Campaign in Bolivia Against Evo Morales
Quito, Feb 16 (Prensa Latina) The president of Ecuador, Rafael Correa, denounced today the development of a smear campaign against his counterpart in Bolivia Evo Morales, to try to win a constitutional referendum next Sunday.
Those who know Evo Morales know is the last person in the world who would fall into a corruption, but he is victim of a dirty campaign to see if they win the referendum on Sunday, stated the president because of allegations of influence peddling against Morales.
Probably when he is 80 or 90 years, he will be given the Nobel Peace Prize, and the same elites who are slandering him will pay him homage, that is the prevailing hypocrisy in our world, stated Correa, who minutes earlier had cited the example of South African leader Nelson Mandela.
Mandela even received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993 for fighting against apartheid and supposedly now everybody loves him, but when he was my age he was jailed for life for fighting precisely against this apartheid and was listed as a dangerous terrorist, he criticized.
