Vandals wreck water stations along Arizona-Mexico border

TUCSON, Ariz. — Volunteers who provide humanitarian aid to people attempting to illegally cross the border between Mexico and southern Arizona are increasing checks after finding water stations vandalized.

The Arizona Daily Star reported that volunteers for Humane Borders found six of their water stations vandalized during a check on Tuesday, including one that had bullet holes and a dead coyote had been placed beside it.

Humane Borders and the Border Action Network Executive Director Juanita Molina said vandalism typically consisted of stolen spigots and drained water or flags bent so people can’t see where the water stations were located, not bullets and
carcasses.

Molina said water stations were targeted because people are unhappy about immigration and don’t want to support the illegal trek.

Hope it all comes back to them, in time.

That's no way to treat fellow human beings they know are desperate. Unbelievable.

They also need to stop killing animals just for the hell of it.
