Cuban Doctors Carry out Scientific Event in Ecuador
Quito, Nov 20 (Prensa Latina) Health specialists from the Cuban Delegation of Doctors in Ecuador shared experiences today in the First National Scientific Event of the Teaching Agreement between the two countries.
Professors and students showed some scientific results of the postgraduate course on Family and Community Medicine, carried out thanks to the Cuban cooperation in Ecuador.
"With Cuban doctors we have learned to treat patients kindly, that they are not another number on the list, and that way of approaching health care represents a change in models here" Ecuadorian doctor Juan Manuel Aviles told the Prensa Latina news agency.
His colleague, doctor Paola Silva, described the postgraduate course as an enriching experience, and professors as excellent specialists and friends, while doctor Elio Galarza praised the fruitful cultural sharing and the daily teaching on increased love for patients.
