Published 6 November 2015

Universities all over the world have awarded the popular Bolivian president an honorary degree.

Bolivian President Evo Morales is probably losing count of his degrees as the University Sapienza in Rome adds one more title to his name Friday.

He has already been awarded at least six other honorary academic titles by universities in Bolivia, Uruguay, France and Argentina, where at least three univiersities have lauded Morales for his work.

teleSUR opinion writer Atilio Boron, who is a professor at the University of Buenos Aires, was quoted by Telam as saying, on the occasion of one of Morales’ honoris causa degrees at Argentina’s Comahue National University, that, "This Bolivian is the legitimate heir of the great patriots of Latin American emancipation, a man of continental dimension who completely identifies with the common destiny of the peoples of our America."
