4. Funny how all the admirers of these supposedly "leftist" leaders turn a blind eye to these things

There's plenty to show that all the people at the top of the government and those close to them have made themselves obscenely rich, something that sure as hell isn't possible with the salary of a public servant, and yet they can't stop frolicking over how "benevolent" and caring for the people they are. If that isn't ideologically blinding oneself, I don't know what is.

Description of the founder and his son, from Venezuelanalysis. You are welcome to discredit what they have written about this true dictator-loving founder of Diario las Américas:
Some integral IAPA members also have disturbing historic link with Latin America's right wing dictatorships. For example, Alejandro J. Aguirre is President of the IAPA Executive Committee. Aguirre is assistant editor and assistant publisher of Miami's largest Spanish daily, Diario Las Americas. Alejandro is the son of Horacio Aguirre Baca, founder of the newspaper, who in 1999 was profoundly thanked at the Miami International Press Club, by the Miami Cuban community, for his long years in "defense of the freedom of Cuba." According to an investigation from various sources, it appears that Horacio Aguirre Baca was born in New Orleans and grew up in Nicaragua, where he and his family had relatively tight connections with then-General (and soon to be Dictator) Anastasio Somoza García. As history knows, Somoza Garcia was responsible for the assassination of the infamous left-wing Nicaraguan guerrilla leader, Augusto César Sandino. Over the next fourty years, the Somoza family would control the country on and off until Somoza Garcia's second son, Anastasio Somoza Debayle, was ousted by the Sandinistas in 1979. In the 1940s, during one of these power shifts, Horacio fled to Panama with his brother Francisco, and afterwards to the United States in the 1950s. Horacio Aguirre is an historic member of the IAPA, and now belongs to the Advisory board.[6]

His daughters still live in the presidential palace, perhaps that is how she was able to save so much money and become a billionaire. Although, its more likely she inherited and was given money that Hugo ripped off from the state while the Venezuelan people have to use pet medication, and stand in line for 8 hrs to maybe get some milk or some diapers for their children.

8. Breitbart is carrying your story, too! Must be true.

They say it originated with Diario Las Americas. Reminds one of the time you posted a story which claimed Hugo Chavez was worth billions of dollars, and the story was traced back to only one man, and it fizzled out completely after that.

Your Breitbart extreme right-wing story:

and that the revolution is a big joke. On the other hand, you still see at as success despite all evidence to the contrary.

Of course, the Ven government isn't going publish info on Chavez's wealth since he obviously cyphened it off from the people, just like they don't publish inflation data or murder numbers since it just makes them look like the inept fools they are.

And the official murder rate for many years now too. The regime obviously doesn't want to talk about these things, so it's obvious they don't want anyone to know the truth.

7. Doesn't take a genius to know that the Chavez family and the other prominent Chavistas are rich
Tue Aug 11, 2015, 05:18 PM

One only need to take a look at the kind of vehicles and watches that they like to wear during public appearances, or the luxurious parties they throw themselves. Not long ago there was a prominent Chavista actor who got caught grocery shopping in Aruba. How much do you wanna bet that none of those capitalist assholes don't do lines at supermarkets and instead pay whoever to do it?
