CLEVELAND, Ohio A mission worker from Norton pleaded guilty Thursday to sexually molesting three children who lived in homes he helped run in Honduras.
Under an agreement struck with federal prosecutors, Corey Bryant will likely spend 7 1/2 years in federal prison. He pleaded guilty to three counts of travel in foreign commerce to engage in illicit sexual conduct.
The Department of Homeland Security said Bryant, 26, abused three boys between 2011 and 2014 and that the boys were between 9 and 15 years old.
Bryant lived in Honduras during those years, doing humanitarian work for Breaking Chains Honduras, an Oklahoma-based Christian missionary group that runs a homeless ministry in Tegucigalpa, the nation's capital. He taught at Interamerican School, a bilingual K-9 private school in the same city.
