Paraguay to Receive Cheaper Bolivian Gas
Asuncion, Aug 6 (Prensa Latina) Bolivia''s first batch of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) will come to Paraguay by the end of the year at prices 10-20 percent lower, the president of Petroleos Paraguayos (Petropar), Romulo Campos said.
According to the government agency IP Paraguay, Campos said that in November and December the initial GLP cargo from this neighboring country will be received by the agreement recently signed with the state company Yacimientos Petroliferos Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB).
Next month the company will launch a tender to purchase carafes to store the gas and in the first quarter of 2016 start with the sale of these containers of the Petropar brand, which will allow declining the cost of the product from other companies.
However, he warned that the rise in the dollar exchange rate will affect the value of all fuels, because the replacement price for the state oil company not to lose money as before would vary.
