Alba Summit Opens In Venezuela
CARACAS, March 18 (BERNAMA-NNN-AVN) -- The Extraordinary Summit of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Trade Treaty of the Peoples (ALBA-TCP) began Tuesday to find joint stance on US aggression against Venezuela and ahead of the 7th Summit of the Americas to be held soon in Panama.
President Nicholas Maduro is attending the summit with Foreign Minister, Delcy Rodriguez, Minister of the Office of the President and Monitoring Management Government, Carmen Melendez and Minister of Communication and Information, Jacqueline Faria.
The extraordinary summit will be held in the Sun of Peru room at Miraflores presidential palace here.
Among the leaders who are already in the Venezuelan capital are Cuba's Raul Castro, Bolivia's Evo Morales and Nicaragua's Daniel Ortega.
