Pregnant woman denied purchase of diapers because her baby has no birth certificate

http://www.maduradas.com/insolito-niegan-venta-de-panales-a-embarazada-por-no-mostrar-partida-de-nacimiento/

Spanish. Venezuela.

A woman 7-mos pregnant was denied a purchase of diapers because she doesn't have a birth certificate for her baby. The management of the store is reviewing her case.

Chavista policy requires that mothers provide birth certificates for their children if they wish to buy diapers.

She wants to get her layette ready before she gives birth, and I think she makes a good case. Who wants to go out shopping for diapers right after giving birth? That's what's being placed upon her. Having a child after seven months, too, isn't all that rare.

It's a stupid policy. I mean, really--look at all the "rich capitalists" they're thwarting, here:

Another Maduro dumble-bumble.

See how they borrowed the servants' clothing and left the Gucci, Pucci, and Fiarucci at home, just so they'd blend in...?

Where DOES your source get its "bonafide" material, anyway? I've noticed you've used it before today.

Why don't you use one of those "reputable" oligarchy-owned Venezuelan sources for all your material, like the ones who aided in the failed coup against Hugo Chavez in 2002?

Seems they would have the chance, at least, in getting more accurate info. than some outfit near Washington, D.C.

I use maduradas quite frequently actually as they publish the daily idiocies of the chavistas. Here is another, be sure you use your chavista approved translator.

If it's really happening, a real reporter needs to get on it.

No, I don't believe it. I do believe a woman needing to buy diapers for a baby soon to arrive can get them. Period.

I think this story is bogus.
