Immediately after being introduced Sebastián Arcos repeated what I heard Ileana Ros-Lehtinen say the other evening on some other show. Apparently he didn't convince Lawrence, either, did he?
It was so intesting seeing Alfredo Duran, finally, after reading about him for many years. He has been very courageous over the years in South Florida.
From a short biography on Arcos at the website of the "Cuban Research Institute,"
"Mr. Arcos was part of the Freedom House delegation to the U.N. Human Rights Commission in Geneva, Switzerland."
Who can forget Frank Calzon, and his great contributions made through Freedom House? He never seemed so strange as when he decided he'd waddle over and slug one of the Cuban delegates. If you recall, our super-knowledgeable friend, magbana, found him unpleasant, after seeing him in action herself.

It was tremendous seeing two excellent people from Cuba who are NOT on the US government gravy train financed by unwitting US citizens through their obligatory taxes regardless of their beliefs.
There's a lot to hope for with more genuinely intelligent people like them around.
