http://colombiareports.co/colombia-among-forbes-10-coolest-places-visit-2015/Colombia is one the worlds 10 coolest places to visit in 2015, said US business magazine Forbes.
The list was put together with the help of Owen Gaddis, a luxury travel manager at the super-high-end travel company Absolute Travel.
Colombia made the cool list as it allows visitors to savor this South American up-and-comers charisma, authenticity and jugo de lulo.
According to the magazine, Colombias stable government made it safe, and a new breed of hoteliers and operators are making it luxurious.
The country encompasses everything from pristine Caribbean coastlines, picturesque cobblestone streets in Cartagena, the exotic Amazon rain forest, seven UNESCO World Heritage sites, the buzzing metropolis of Bogota and some of the worlds most vivacious people, said Forbes.

Santos the security situation has deteriorated significantly and criminal assaults are increasing. Still, it's a fabulous country with incredible people.

(14,732 posts)3. VERY expensive. I've just seen some of the
recent prices and am astounded. However, the Peso just had a major slippage (from 1850 or so to 2350 or so per USD) so that will help the tourist.
