Venezuela expected to have lowest economic growth in 2014 in the entire continent

his 'little bird' followers have managed to take what was arguably the richest country in South America and turn it something that more closely resembles a mini-Cuba.

At least te crime rate in Cuba is tightly controlled. Gun control is obviously very strict, though most likely for the wrong reasons, which is so that nobody is able to instigate an armed rebellion against the Castros.

Things in Cuba are much worse due to the lack of freedom. Venezuela's Internet is being censored using a selective firewall. But Cubans don't have access to a free internet at all (with the exception of our buddies who work for the Cuban dictatorship and post from their work places in Havana).

Things in Cuba are also worse in other areas. For example the condition of housing is appalling for almost everybody. And they are even poorer than Venezuelans. However, it's true that crime in Cuba isn't nearly as bad. It's increasing, but it remains really low.
