... or La Loba gets spanked! Dare I say "Go Hillary".
The chairwoman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee said the State Department has told her it may cease to inform lawmakers when it grants visas to Cuban officials.
In a statement late Thursday, Chairwoman Illeana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.) said State was considering ending an agreement that has been in place with her committee since 1997 and has been respected by successive administrations since then.
State employees and officials have indicated they may stop honoring a long-standing agreement with me on behalf of the House Foreign Affairs Committee requiring notification of State actions concerning travel by Cuban regime officials," Ros-Lehtinen said in a statement.
The rift comes as the four Cuban-Americans serving in the House of Representatives sent a scathing letter to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton questioning her judgment.

(160,644 posts)Their cronies have fallen by the wayside, people like Jesse Helms, and Tom DeLay. It's about time they do something honorable, at long last, and start acting like adults instead of shrieking brats.
We don't need to indulge them any longer. The country is probably going to try to join the 21st Century at some point, and their fascist, grabby demands just aren't as adorable as they were when they first fled here from the wrath of the people of Cuba after the Revolution against them and the others of their ilk.
The government should set the 4 Cuban exile Congressclowns all up with their own individual Cuban sandwich shops to keep them busy as our country tries to forge ahead without them.
