Peruvian President Arrives In Canada For State Visit
OTTAWA (Canada), April 10 (NNN-ANDINA) -- Peru's President Ollanta Humala has arrived in the Canadian capital Ottawa for an official four-day visit aimed at deepening bilateral ties between the two nations.
Upon his arrival at the airport, Humala was received by the Canadian ambassador to Peru, Patricia Fortier; the Peruvian ambassador to Canada, Jose Antonio Bellina; and by senior representatives of the host country.
The head of Peru's administration is visiting the North American nation at the invitation of the Canadian Prime Minister, Stephen Harper.
President Humala was welcomed by the Governor General of Canada, David Johnston at an official welcoming ceremony at the Rideau Hall.
